[Scmusenet] Sponsored get-together at SCFM and free appetizers

To those who will be attending the SCFM conference next week:

 

On Thursday night, SETEG (the Southeastern Traveling Exhibitions Group)
will be holding a get-together near (if not in) the hospitality suite at
the Hyatt in Greenville, SC at 8:00 p.m.  Drinks in the hospitality
suite will be covered already by SCFM, but for the SETEG get-together
free appetizers will be provided thanks to a SETEG sponsor.  

 

Last summer  a new Public Affinity Group with SEMC named SETEG
(Southeastern Traveling Exhibitions Group) was created for those of us
who are involved with traveling exhibitions in ANY way at their
institutions; whether they host them, travel them, deal with shipping of
objects or even interested in what exhibitions are available or are
coming to a museum near you.  

 

This get-together will provide more information on what SETEG does, it's
mission, and will give out some information on shipping information as
well.  Even if you are not involved in traveling exhibitions, it will
still be a great networking opportunity.  So all are welcome!

 

If you can come to this event, please respond to me off-list at
stalveyn at mailbox.sc.edu so that I can get a head count.  I will need
this for the sponsor.
