Join or Renew Your Membership to SCFM

Institutional membership is open to all operating or developing museums in South Carolina. Benefits include:

• Basic membership benefits (See above)
• One vote in elections
• One staff member may attend workshops and annual conference at the member rate

Dues are based on the institution’s annual budget:
$25 (under $50,000)
$50 ($50,001-$100,000)
$75 ($100,001-$500,000)
$125 ($500,001-$1,000,000)
$175 (over $1,000,001)

Professional membership is open to all museum professionals employed in South Carolina. Benefits include:

• Basic membership benefits (See above)
• Eligibility to vote and hold office

Dues are:
$25 for staff of institutional members
$50 for staff of non-member institutions

Affiliate membership is open to non-museum institutions and organizations, vendors, private museum consultants and out-of-state professionals. Benefits include:

  Dues are $50

Associate membership is open to museum volunteers and board members.

• Basic membership benefits (See above) 
  Dues are $25

Student membership is open to all university and college level students.

  Dues are $15
